Authentication Possibilities
I decided to play around with Loopt and they have a really cool authentication scheme. I signed up for the service (which is a mobile phone based location awareness service) which includes my phone number, and received a SMS with a link to access in the mobile browser (I’m using the iPhone). As soon as you click the browser link, the Loopt page immediately refreshes with a picture, while the mobile browser asks you to select what you see in the browser.
This is a really cool, simple, fast out of band authentication scheme - it took _no_ time really, was easy to understand and use, and quite secure.
